Yuusuke and Hiei fans rejoice! Nakagawa Ao is here, and she brings her own special brand of wicked humor to the pairing. Her Yuusuke is a happy-go-lucky guy who never means to cause any of the trouble that seems to constantly surround him, and her Hiei is a sloe-eyed demon who gives even Yuusuke gray hairs. Together they seem determined to shake up the world and drive poor Koenma crazy.

So step inside and be prepared for a whirlwind of funny, spicy stories dashed off in Nakagawa's deft improvisational style (she fills the margins with complaints about not having time for planning) and filled with characters who seem devoted to chaos. It's a wild ride, but if you like Yuusuke and Hiei it's loads of fun.

The Piyo Piyo Kids

What do you get when you mix Yuusuke and Hiei's DNA and then add a big dash of outside influence? The Piyo Piyo (Cheep Cheep) Hatchlings.

They start as eggs fertilized by Yuusuke and laid by Hiei. But, just like Puu, these eggs need to be warmed and nurtured before they can hatch, and the heart-energy they draw from whoever is raising them determines their eventual character and even their outward appearance.

Ryuu-chan, who was carefully nurtured by Yuusuke, is sweet and obedient. But Rei-chan, hatched by Hiei, is a mischeivous little devil. And what about Rou-chan, hatched by Kurama to be a plant-controller, and Ran-chan and Ren-chan, hatched by Koenma and Botan?

Good Morning by Nakagawa Ao
	Yuusuke X Hiei, funny. 4 pages Yuusuke is making breakfast when Hiei unexpectedly hands him a couple of freshly laid eggs...freshly laid by Hiei, that is. Nakagawa-san didn't know that with this short she was laying (ahem!) the foundation for an epic series. Translated by M-chan.

	Yuusuke X Hiei. Funny, kawaii. 19 pages 'Here's your share,' Hiei says to Yuusuke. 'Keep it warm.' Enchanted with the idea of a baby who looks like Hiei, Yuusuke sets out to hatch the sweetest, most loving, best kid ever born. But meanwhile Hiei is raising his own hatchling--and the very thought of a child with Hiei's and Yuusuke's combined powers is driving Koenma insane. This is it, the story that introduced Ryuu and Rei (Yuusuke's and Hiei's kids respectively) and started the Piyo Piyo craze. Warning: contains many scenes of ultra-cuteness, including what may be the most kawaii birth ever drawn, Ryuu-chan's hatching. Translated by W-san. New! Other stories by Nakagawa Ao

Yep, she's written lots more than the Piyo Piyo tales, although it seems that after she invented the kids most of her work was on them. That must be how it is when you start a family. In any case, this is place for her miscellaneous tales, which you'll find are mostly spicy, and always Yusuuke X Hiei.
