Facts and tips:

The actual page of the real story (page 1 of Jagan-shi's Delivery Service, 500 pixel wide version) is about 64K and takes around 23 seconds to download with a 28.8 bps modem.

The smaller version of the same page (350 pixel wide version) is about 34K, and should take around 12 seconds. Yes, it's faster, and in some cases the small pages are quite readable.

Viewing tip: If you have a recent version of Internet Explorer, try reading the stories with the 'Full screen' option chosen (on the button bar and in the View menu). It's simple to choose and unchoose, and you can see a lot more of the story page at once! ^_^

You already know this, but...
These stories are in the original Japanese format, which means you read the panels from right to left instead of left to right. The interesting thing is that mangaka often draw the sound effects going from left to right, especially the BIIIIIG sound effects. So we don't need to change the format of those, either.
