'since he became a youkai when
he was Chibiko' = the kids were originally flowers of the Souyouju
(Evil Twin Tree). They became real youkai when the Blue Fairy...um,
I mean, when they each swallowed half of the Seikoseki. Kurama's
baby was in his Chibi Youko form when he swallowed the Seikoseki
half.
